His Majesty, who chaired on Monday a meeting at the Royal Court in the presence of Hashemite Royal Court minister, ministers of education and health and chairman of the joint chiefs of staff, to review the best means to improve the level of health care for students, said that we are keen to make Jordan a model to be followed in the region in terms of providing health care and improving nutrition programs at schools.

His Majesty was briefed on a feasibility study conducted by the armed forces on the production of biscuits that contain vitamins and mineral salts, and which aim at expanding school nutrition programs carried out by the education ministry in some parts of the Kingdom to cover all school students in the Kingdom.

The education ministry implemented at the end of 2002 His Majesty King Abdullah's initiative to distribute vitamins on public and UNRWA schools students in the less privileged areas to increase their immune against diseases.
