King starts working visit to Japan on Sunday

His Majesty King Abdullah II will start a working visit to Japan next Sunday, during which he will meet with Emperor Akihito and a number of high-ranking Japanese officials.

During the three-day visit, King Abdullah will also meet with Prime Minister Taro Aso to discuss bilateral relations and ways to enhance and foster cooperation, specifically in the economic sector.

Developments in the Middle East and the peace process will also be on the agenda, in addition to regional issues that concern the two countries.

In Tokyo, the King will also meet with a number of Japanese political, parliamentary and economic leaders.
