His Majesty King Abdullah arrived on Tuesday in London at the start of a three-day visit.

King Abdullah will meet British Prime Minister Gordon Brown today to discuss regional and international efforts to advance the Middle East peace process before the anticipated US-proposed international Mideast peace meeting in Annapolis.

Talks between the King and Brown will also cover the development bilateral ties, especially economic ties, in addition to Britain's support for Jordan's debt-relief efforts.

Also on the agenda is the issue of British support for Jordan's work to establish an effective partnership between the Lower-Middle Income Countries Initiative (G-11), chaired by Jordan, and the G-8 industrial countries, in which the UK is a member.
