King to start Turkey visit Tuesday

Their Majesties King Abdullah and Queen Rania on Tuesday will pay a two-day official visit to Ankara.

During the visit, His Majesty will hold talks with Turkish President Abdullah Gul and Prime Minister Recep Tayyip Erdogan on ways to enhance bilateral relations.

Talks will also address the current regional developments, especially in Syria.

King Abdullah will meet with the speaker of the Turkey’s Grand National Assembly, Cemil Çiçek, “to examine ways to strengthen parliamentary cooperation”.

The visit’s agenda also includes a meeting between His Majesty and representatives of the Jordanian and Turkish business communities.
