King sends condolence cables to Thai, Philippines and Brazilian leaders

His Majesty King Abdullah sent a cable to Thailand's King Bhumibol Adulyadej on Thursday, offering condolences for the victims of floods that swept through parts of the country.

Also today, King Abdullah sent a cable of condolences to Philippines President Gloria Macapagal-Arroyo. Typhoon Xangsane raked the Philippines last week, bringing parts of the country, including the capital Manila, to a standstill and killing 110 people.

The King also sent a cable of condolences to Brazilian President Luiz Inacio Lula da Silva for the plane crash that killed all 155 persons onboard.
