His Majesty King Abdullah discussed with King Abdullah Ben Abdul Aziz of Saudi Arabia over the phone late Tuesday regional developments and efforts to launch negotiations to resolve the Palestinian-Israeli conflict.

The two leaders reiterated that the resolution of the decades-old conflict should be based on a two-state solution within a comprehensive regional context that will bring about peace and stability in the region in line with the Arab Peace Initiative and the relevant terms of reference.
