His Majesty King Abdullah and Thai's Prime Minister Thaksin Shinawatra on Tuesday reviewed bilateral relations and means to promote economic, cultural and political ties.

King Abdullah highlighted Jordan's conducive investment environment and expressed desire to strengthen relations with Thailand, particularly in the fields of investment and commercial exchange.

During the meeting, attended by Senator Faisal Fayez, Thai's prime minister valued the King's interest in strengthening bilateral relations and stressed Thailand's keenness to enhance ties.

During the first quarter of 2006, Jordan's exports to Thailand reached JD2.4 million compared to JD110,000 during the same period of 2005.
