His Majesty King Abdullah, accompanied by Her Majesty Queen Rania Al Abdullah, returned to Jordan on Tuesday after undergoing successful surgery in Germany.

His Royal Highness Crown Prince Al Hussein bin Abdullah II, a number of royal family members, and senior officials and officers were present to welcome King Abdullah upon arrival at Marka Military Airport.

Royal Jordanian Air force fighter jets accompanied His Majesty’s aircraft upon entering the Kingdom’s airspace.

The King had undergone surgery at a specialised centre in Frankfurt last Tuesday to treat a thoracic herniated disc.
