His Majesty King Abdullah returned home on Wednesday after concluding a several-day tour that took him to Bahrain, Brunei and France.
King Abdullah and French President Nicolas Sarkozy on Tuesday discussed efforts to launch serious and effective negotiations to resolve the Palestinian-Israeli conflict, on the basis of the two-state solution within a regional context.
During a meeting at the presidential residence in southeast France, the two leaders also reviewed relations between Jordan and France.
In Brunei's capital of Bandar Seri Begawan, King Abdullah and Sultan Haji Hassanal Bolkiah held talks on means to foster bilateral ties and issues related to the Muslim world.
Also during the visit, His Majesty attended the second Brunei International Defence Exhibition (BRIDEX) in which around 250 defence companies from various countries, including Jordan, took part.
During his visit to Bahrain, the King offered condolences to King Hamad Ben Isa Al Khalifa over the death of his mother Sheikha Hessa Bint Salman Al Khalifa.
King Abdullah and the Bahraini monarch also discussed bilateral ties, issues of mutual concern and efforts to bring about peace and stability in the Middle East.
