His Majesty King Abdullah returned to the Kingdom on Friday after concluding a European tour that took him to Belgium, the UK and Sweden.

Efforts to launch serious and effective negotiations to resolve the Palestinian-Israeli conflict were the centerpiece to the Jordanian-European summit held between the King and the leaders of the European Union Troika in Belgium.

Talks between King Abdullah and European officials focused on means to achieve a two-state solution to the conflict and bring about peace within a regional context as well as bilateral relations between Jordan and European countries.
