King returns home

His Majesty King Abdullah returned home on Friday after a three-day visit to Bahrain and Saudi Arabia.

During the visit, the King discussed how to best serve common Arab interests with King of Bahrain Hamad Ben Isa Al Khalifa and Saudi King Abdullah Ben Abdul Aziz.

The Bahraini and Saudi leaders voiced their support for a unified Arab stance on challenges facing the region, stressing the need for urgent Arab and international efforts to re-launch Israeli-Palestinian peace negations.

During his visit to Manama, the King and Bahraini Monarch stressed need to achieve Arab solidarity and institutionalise joint Arab action to reach a united Arab stance to face threats to Arab interests.

King Abdullah also met with Bahraini business leaders and heads of international banks and briefed them on the investment climate in the Kingdom.
