Hundreds of We are All Jordan Youth Commission members gathered at the Dead Sea on Tuesday in the presence of Their Majesties King Abdullah and Queen Rania to launch a set of initiatives designed to involve the younger generation in the country's development process.

In his address at today's forum, the King reminded the youth of his pledge to back their development and the importance of their responsibility to develop themselves.

The King added that he fully supports the youth and has great hope that they have an important and effective role in benefiting the future of all Jordanians.

After months of forums, coordination and research, the commission members aged between 18 and 30 came up with five umbrella initiatives: A micro-fund for small businesses and entrepreneurs, a debate club, an annual “knights of change” prize for youths that make a difference, a national council for youth excellence and a project to help the young interact with the private sector and civil societies.
