His Majesty King Abdullah on Sunday reiterated Jordan's support for efforts seeking to reinforce security and stability in Iraq and bring an end to the cycle of violence.
During a meeting with David Satterfield, senior adviser to US Secretary of State Condoleezza Rice, King Abdullah also said that efforts seeking to reinforce Iraqi national reconciliation should cover all sects in order to ensure its success.
During the meeting, the two sides also reviewed ways to revive the peace process between the Palestinians and the Israelis and bring the two sides back to the negotiating table.
Satterfield, who briefed the King on US measures to help the Iraqi government achieve stability, said he appreciated King Abdullah's efforts to establish peace and stability in the region.
