His Majesty King Abdullah on Monday received a delegation from the U.S. National Defense University led by General Joseph Hoar (Ret.), currently visiting the Kingdom as part of a Middle East tour.

King Abdullah reviewed efforts to achieve peace in the region, the situation in Syria as well as other regional and international issues.

The meeting was attended by Royal Court Chief Fayez Tarawneh and US Ambassador to Jordan Stuart Jones.
