His Majesty King Abdullah on Monday met with US Deputy Secretary of State William Burns and discussed bilateral ties and developments in the region.
During the meeting, talks focused on means to facilitate the arrival of Arab and international aid to the Palestinian Authority to enable it to carry out its responsibility towards the Palestinian people and continue the institution building process.
The two sides reviewed reform efforts carried out by the Kingdom in political, economic and social fields to meet the aspirations of Jordanian people. The meeting was attended by King’s Office Director Imad Fakhoury, Minister of Foreign Affairs Nasser Judeh and US Ambassador in Amman Stuart Jones.
