His Majesty King Abdullah on Sunday received Senator John Warner (R-VA), who headed a US Congressional delegation on a visit to the country.

Discussions during the meeting focused on political developments in the region, efforts to revive the peace process, the situation in Iraq as well as means to enhance bilateral ties, especially in the economic field.

The delegation comprised Senator Carl Levin (D-MI), Senator Jeff Sessions (R-AL) and Senator Mark Pryor (D-Arkansas).
