His Majesty King Abdullah II on Wednesday received Tunisia Minister of Foreign Affairs, Migration and Tunisians Abroad Mohamed Ali Nafti, and discussed the deep-rooted friendship between the two countries, as well as ways to enhance cooperation.
During the meeting, held at Al Husseiniya Palace, Nafti relayed a message from Tunisia President Kais Saied to His Majesty, affirming his country’s readiness to strengthen its partnership with Jordan in various fields.
The meeting also covered the latest regional and international developments, with the King stressing the importance of uniting Arab efforts to halt Israeli escalations in the West Bank and Jerusalem, and reiterating the need for all parties to adhere to the agreement to end the war in Gaza in all its stages.
Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Ayman Safadi, Director of the Office of His Majesty Alaa Batayneh, and Tunisia’s Ambassador to Jordan Moufida Zribi attended the meeting.
