His Majesty King Abdullah on Tuesday received Siemens AG President and Chief Executive Officer Peter Lِscher and board member Rudi Lamprecht. Cooperation in the fields of renewable and alternative energy, water, transportation and communications was the subject of discussions.

During the meeting, King Abdullah also highlighted investment opportunities in Jordan. Siemens investments in Jordan in 2008 totalled 58 million euros in various fields.
