His Majesty King Abdullah on Thursday received Chief of Staff of the Qatari Armed Forces Maj. Gen. Hamad Bin Ali Al Attiyah. Talks during the meeting, which was attended by Chairman of the Joint Chiefs-of-Staff Lt. Gen. Mashal Al Zaben, focused on means to boost bilateral relations and other issues of mutual concern.

Attiyah conveyed Qatari Emir Sheikh Hamad Bin Khalifa Al Thani’s greetings to King Abdullah. His Majesty bestowed on Attiyah the Military Merit Medal of the First Order.
