His Majesty King Abdullah on Wednesday received a phone call from Iraqi Prime Minister Nouri Maliki.

In their phone conversation, King Abdullah and Maliki discussed bilateral ties and current regional developments in addition to issues of mutual concern.

They also exchanged views on steps that should be taken to enforce cooperation between Jordan and Iraq in various fields.

King Abdullah reiterated Jordan's support for efforts to bring stability and security to Iraq.
