His Majesty King Abdullah on Wednesday received a phone call from Iraq's Prime Minister Nuri al-Maliki, who was scheduled to visit Amman tomorrow for talks with top Jordanian officials on ways to boost ties between the two countries.

During the phone call, al-Maliki pointed out that the prevailing circumstances in Iraq had postponed his plans to visit Jordan, voicing hope to make the visit in the nearest future.
