His Majesty King Abdullah on Wednesday met with Patriarch of Jerusalem Irineos I and said he was satisfied with procedures taken by the Orthodox Patriarchate to implement what was agreed upon with Jordan.

The King said that Jordan will continue its support for the church and that the Kingdom is keen on safeguarding the church's properties.

During the meeting, attended by King's Personal Envoy and Private Advisor HRH Prince Ghazi Ben Mohammad, the Patriarch denied all rumors on selling the Orthodox Church properties.
