His Majesty King Abdullah on Sunday highlighted the strong relations between Jordan and Oman during a meeting with Omani Foreign Minister Yousuf Ben Alawi, who is currently on a visit to Jordan.

The Omani official conveyed greetings from Sultan Qaboos Ben Said to the King.

Discussions covered political developments in the region.

Director of the King's Office Bassem Awadallah, Minister of Foreign Affairs Abdul Ilah Khatib and Oman's Ambassador to Jordan Musallam Ben Bakhit attended the meeting.
