His Majesty King Abdullah on Monday met with members of the national football team.

While receiving the team's players and staff, King Abdullah commended the result they achieved in the latest game, in which Jordan beat Australia 2-1, enhancing their opportunities to qualify for the 2014 World Cup.

At the meeting, also attended by His Royal Highness Prince Ali, FIFA vice president representing Asia and president of the Jordan Football Association, the players vowed more hard work to better their performance and strengthen the team’s chances to qualify for Brazil 2014.
