King receives mayor of Incheon, president of Asia Olympic Council

His Majesty King Abdullah II on Tuesday met with Song Young-gil, Mayor of the Korean city of Incheon, and Sheikh Ahmad Al-Fahad Al-Sabah, President of the Olympic Council of Asia.

The meeting, which was attended by His Royal Highness Prince Ali bin Al Hussein, President of Jordan Football Association and Vice President of FIFA, discussed cooperation in sports and youths issues.

Young-gil briefed His Majesty on preparations to host the 2014 Asian Games in Incheon, pointing to the available cooperation opportunities between Jordan and Korea in all athletic fields.

Also, he praised Jordan's efforts to provide for the Syrian refugees, stressing the need to support the Kingdom's efforts, readiness for contribution and provide support for projects that serve the local communities affected by the consequences of the refugee influx.

The meeting was also attended by the Chief of the Royal Hashemite Court Fayez Tarawneh and Director of His Majesty's Office Imad Fakhoury.
