Lebanese Prime Minister Foud Siniora on Wednesday sent a letter to His Majesty King Abdullah, expressing appreciation for the King's “great political support”, which contributed to efforts that led to the ceasefire and ending Israeli aggression on Lebanon.

Siniora said he wrote to the King to brief him on Lebanese government plan to strengthen national unity and rebuild the country.

“Helping displaced Lebanese return to their homes and rebuild their lives top our priorities,” Siniora told the King.
