King receives letter from Iranian president

His Majesty King Abdullah on Tuesday received visiting Iranian Foreign Minister Ali Akbar Salehi, who delivered a letter from Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad.

During the meeting, King Abdullah and Salehi discussed latest developments in the Middle East, particularly the situation in Syria and efforts to bring about peace in the Middle East. Discussions also covered bilateral ties and ways to develop relations in various areas.

The meeting was attended by Royal Court Chief Fayez Tarawneh, Minister of Foreign and Expatriate Affairs Nasser Judeh, His Majety’s Office Director Imad Fakhoury and the Iranian minister's accompanying delegation.
