King receives leader of the Supreme Islamic Council in Iraq

His Majesty King Abdullah on Monday met with Ammar Hakim, leader of the Supreme Islamic Council in Iraq, and discussed with him means to bolster bilateral ties.

King Abdullah reiterated Jordan's support for efforts to achieve security and stability in the neighbouring country to enable Iraqis to overcome their current hardships.

Hakim commended Jordan's support for Iraq, highlighting the government's measures to facilitate the entry of Iraqis into the Kingdom.
