Peace efforts aiming at establishing an independent Palestinian state on the basis of the two-state solution were also discussed during the meeting.

For his part, Ghanim expressed Kuwait’s keenness on enhancing its cooperation with Jordan, saying that Jordan was chosen to be their first destination in this first visit abroad due to the distinguished ties between the two countries.
