His Majesty King Abdullah on Tuesday valued the investment projects of the Kuwaiti private sector in the Kingdom and stressed Jordan's drive to provide all facilities for Arab investors.

At a Royal Court meeting with delegates representing various economic sectors in Kuwait, the King highlighted Jordan's attractive investment environment and the incentives offered to investors, especially Arab businessmen.

Noting the strong bilateral relations between the two countries, the King said Jordan is keen to develop ties with Kuwait in all areas.

Kuwait Chamber of Commerce and Industry President Ali Al Ghanem, who headed the delegation, commended the investment climate in Jordan and the legislative amendments introduced to attract foreign projects.

According to Ghanem, the investment climate in Jordan is one of the best, if not the best in the region.

He mentioned security and stability as one of the reasons that lured Kuwaiti investors and encouraged them to invest in Jordan.

The delegation briefed the King on the outcome of their talks with officials and business leaders, which focused on ways to enhance ties between the two countries.

Amman Chamber of Commerce President Haidar Murad said the private sector in Jordan is keen to activate relations with the Kuwait counterpart, pointing to a cooperation agreement the two chambers signed during the Kuwaiti delegation's current visit.
