His Majesty King Abdullah on Sunday told Iraqi Vice President Tareq Hashemi that he hoped the March 28-29 Arab summit in Riyadh would adopt resolutions to help end violence and enhance reconciliation in Iraq.

During a meeting in Amman, King Abdullah affirmed Jordan's support for all efforts aiming at restoring peace and security in Jordan's eastern neighbor and help Iraq regain its vital role in the region.

Al-Hashimi briefed the King on the situation in Iraq.
