His Majesty King Abdullah II received on Tuesday Iraqi Prime Minister Ayad Allawi, who is on a visit to Jordan to the meeting of Jordanian-Iraqi joint committee.



"To achieve the aspiration of Jordanian and Iraqi peoples we should continue our consultation and coordination" King Abdullah noted affirming Jordan's keenness to bolstering bilateral relation cooperation, particularly in economic and trade fields.



His Majesty hopes that the Jordanian-Iraqi joint Committee to achieve its objectives to promote the economic relations between the two countries.



Allawi expressed his country's appreciation for His Majesty King Abdullah II's efforts to shore up international support to rebuild Iraq and build secure and stable Iraq.
