His Majesty King Abdullah on Tuesday voiced Jordan’s support for the unity and stability of Iraq during a meeting with Iraq’s Parliament Speaker Salim Al Jabouri at Al Husseiniya Palace.

 

They discussed developments in Iraq, especially the efforts of the Iraqi government in combating terrorist organisations, with Jabouri commending Jordan’s stances in support of his country and people as they rise to face this challenge.

 

Also present at the meeting were Royal Hashemite Court Chief Fayez Tarawneh, King’s Adviser on National Security Affairs and General Intelligence Department Director Gen. Faisal Shobaki, King’s Office Director Jafar Hassan and Iraqi Ambassador to Jordan Safia Talib Al Suhail.
