His Majesty King Abdullah met on Monday with Hyundai Corp. CEO and President Mark Jhun.



During the meeting, the King and Jhun discussed the possibility of establishing an industrial complex in Jordan for assembling car parts and marketing them in the Middle East. Discussions also covered Hyundai Corp.'s tendency to invest in the energy sector and benefit from privileges of the Jordanian investment climate.



His Majesty paid a visit to South Korea in April last year, during which a memorandum of understanding was signed between Jordan and the Hyundai Corp. to enhance the industrial cooperation between the government and the corporation which established a $10 million complex for manufacturing electrical devices in Jordan and distributing them to neighboring countries.
