His Majesty King Abdullah on Monday received Greek Army Chief of Staff General Panayiotis Hinofotis, chief of the Hellenic National Defence General Staff. They discussed bilateral ties, especially in military affairs. King Abdullah praised the distinguished relations Jordan and Greece are enjoying, affirming keenness to develop them for the interest of both nations. General Hinofotis also met Prime Minister and Minister of Defense Maarouf Bakhit for talks on military cooperation between Greece and Jordan, especially in the fields of training and exchange of expertise. Earlier today, the general and his accompanying delegation discussed cooperation in these fields with Chairman of Joint Chiefs of Staff Gen Khaled Jameel Sarayreh.
