His Majesty King Abdullah on Sunday met with German ambassadors to Middle Eastern states.

A total of 22 German ambassadors accredited in the Middle East are convening in Jordan to discuss the efforts to re-start negotiations between the Palestinians and Israelis.

During the meeting, King Abdullah urged unified international efforts to launch serious and effective negotiations to resolve the Palestinian-Israeli conflict and achieve comprehensive regional peace.

The King underlined the significant roles the EU and Germany play in bolstering peace efforts and briefed the diplomats on the latest regional developments and steps that should be taken in the upcoming stage to push the peace process forward.

King Abdullah also expressed his commitment to boost bilateral cooperation with Germany.
