His Majesty King Abdullah on Monday met with Undersecretary General and Executive Secretary of the United Nations Economic and Social Commission for Western Asia (ESCWA) Rima Khalaf. During the meeting, King Abdullah underscored ESCWA's support for efforts to achieve social, economic and human development in Western Asia, particularly in the Arab region. At the meeting, attended by Royal Court Chief Nasser Lozi, the King highlighted prospects for cooperation between the Kingdom and the commission and congratulated Khalaf, a Jordanian national, on her post.
