His Majesty King Abdullah II received on Tuesday the head of the US Peace Corps Gaddi Vasquez who is currently on a visit to the Kingdom within a tour to the region that aims at inspecting missions of these corps.

During the meeting attended by Chief of the Royal Court Fayez Tarawneh, His Majesty praised the role of US peace corps in enhancing the concepts and visions of peace among peoples and cultures with a view to achieve security and stability in the world.

For his part, Vasquez affirmed that the US peace corps are continuing their mission in Jordan due to the security and stability that Jordan enjoys, and the cooperation shown by the various sectors of the Jordanian society towards the US peace corps.
