King receives credentials of new ambassadors

His Majesty King Abdullah on Sunday received the credentials of eight newly appointed ambassadors. They were: Austrian Ambassador Astrid Harz, Hungarian Ambassador Bela Jungbert, Romanian Ambassador Bogdan Filip, Sri Lankan Ambassador Gamini Rajapakse, Ghanaian Ambassador AlHaji Abdullah Salifu, Armenian Ambassador Arshak Poladian, Lithuanian Ambassador Dainius Junevicius and Libyan Ambassador Mohammad Hassan Barghathi.

The ambassadors laid wreaths on the tombs of Their Majesties the late King Hussein, the late King Abdullah I and the late King Talal.

The ceremony took place at Basman Palace and was attended by Royal Court Chief Riyad Abu Karaki and Finance Minister and Acting Foreign Minister Umayya Touqan.
