His Majesty King Abdullah on Thursday received cables of good wishes on his 52nd birthday from kings and leaders of a number of Arab and friendly countries.

King Abdullah received cables from the king of Saudi Arabia, the king of Morocco, the Palestinian president, the Saudi crown prince and the Bahraini crown prince.

His Majesty also received similar cables from the presidents of Russia, China, Uzbekistan and Ukraine who wished the King continued good health and the Jordanian people further progress and prosperity.

His Majesty also received cables from the prime minister, the Senate president, the Lower House speaker, the president of the Judicial Council, the Royal Court chief, the president of the Constitutional Court, the chief justice, the grand mufti of Jordan, the army chief, the mayor of Amman and the directors of the departments of general intelligence, public security, civil defence, gendarmerie and the Economic and Social Association of Retired Servicemen and Veterans.
