His Majesty King Abdullah on Saturday received cables from several Arab and world leaders congratulating him on the occasion of Eid Al Adha. The cables were from Sultan Qaboos of Oman, Bahraini King Hamad Bin Issa Al Khalifa, Sheikh Mohammed Bin Rashid Al Maktoum, vice president and prime minister of the UAE and ruler of Dubai, Algerian President Abdulaziz Bouteflika, UAE President Sheikh Khalifah Bin Zayed Al Nahayan, Emir of Kuwait Sheikh Sabah Al Ahmad Al Jaber Al Sabah, Lebanese President Michel Sleiman, and head of the Egyptian Supreme Council of the Armed Forces Field Marshal Mohammed Hussein Tantawi.

The King also received cables from several world leaders, including Turkey’s President Abdullah Gül, Uzbekistani President Islam Karimov, and the presidents and directors of several Arab and Islamic organisations. In addition, the King received cables from high ranking Jordanian officials and military officers.
