King receives cables of condolences from Kuwaiti Emir, Italian president

His Majesty King Abdullah on Tuesday received a cable from the Emir of Kuwait His Royal Highness Sheikh Sabah Al-Ahmad Al-Sabah, who expressed his condolences over the death of security officers and innocent civilians in the terror attack in Karak on Sunday.

Sheikh Sabah, in the cable, voiced his condemnation of the “heinous criminal act”, stressing his country’s support to the Kingdom in fighting terrorism and wishing the injured a speedy recovery.

King Abdullah received a similar cable from Italian President Sergio Mattarella, who voiced his condolences over the loss of life in the terrorist attack and wished the injured a speedy recovery.

Mattarella denounced the attack, which he described as "cowardly".
