His Majesty King Abdullah II received Saturday cables from senior and high ranking officials on the anniversary of the Late King Hussein's birthday.



Senders recalled in their cables the efforts which were exerted by the Late King Hussein to build the modern Jordan and defend the Arab and Islamic issues.



They added that Jordan continues today, under the leadership of His Majesty King Abdullah II, the development and progress march which made Jordan a democratic model example.



King Abdullah received cables from the Prime Minister, President of the Senate, Lower House Speaker, Public Intelligence Department Director and State Council Reporter, King's Advisor for Islamic Affairs and Chief Islamic Justice, Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of
Staff and Directors of Public Security Department (PSD) and Civil Defense Department (CDD).
