His Majesty King Abdullah on Sunday received cables from leaders of several Arab and foreign countries on the occasion of his 50th birthday.

His Majesty received good wishes cables from the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, King Abdullah bin Abdulaziz of Saudi Arabia, King Mohammed VI of Morocco, Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas, and Prince Naif bin Abdulaziz, Crown Prince, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Interior of Saudi Arabia.

His Majesty also received congratulatory cables from Russian President Dmitry Medvedev, Kazakh President Nursultan Nazarbayev, Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev, Austrian President Heinz Fischer, President of the Ukraine Viktor Yanukovych, President of Slovakia Ivan Kasparovik and Russian Prime Minister Vladimir Putin.

King Abdullah received similar cables from the prime minister, the president of the Senate, Lower House speaker, army chief and directors of public security and defense and intelligence as well as other top civil and military officials.
