His Majesty King Abdullah II received a cable of thanks and appreciation from Secretary General of the Geneva-based International Civil Defense Organization (ICDO) for the King's patronage of the ICDO General Assembly's meetings, which were held recently in Amman.



The ICDO secretary general praised the important role and active participation of the Jordanian Civil Defense department in putting strategies designed to deal with disasters.
