His Majesty King Abdullah on Thursday received Bahraini Crown Prince Deputy Supreme Commander of Bahrain HRH Prince Salman bin Hamad bin Issa Al- Khalifa, who arrived in Jordan on a private visit.

Prince Salman conveyed Bahraini King Hamad Bin Issa Al-Khalifa’s regards to King Abdullah, noting the strong bilateral ties between the two countries.

During the meeting, which was attended by HRH  Prince Feisal bin Al Hussein and Sheikh Abdullah bin Issa Al -Khalifa, special secretary to the Bahraini Crown Prince, the King expressed pride in the historical relations between Jordan and Bahrain, conveying keenness to enhance them in various fields.

Prince Salman hailed the strong relations between the two countries, voicing Bahrain’s desire to promote them in different domains. His Majesty and the Bahraini Crown Prince also discussed regional developments and a number of issues of common concern.

Upon arrival at the airport, Prince Salman was received by Prince Feisal bin Al Hussein and Bahraini Ambassador to Jordan Nasser bin Rashid Al Ka'abi.
