King receives Arab League secretary general

His Majesty King Abdullah on Thursday bestowed Al Nahda Medal of First Order on Musa in recognition of his efforts to foster cooperation among Arab states and support Arab solidarity during his long term as secretary general of the league.

King Abdullah presented the medal during a meeting with outgoing Arab League secretary general Amr Musa concerning the latest developments in the Arab region.

At the meeting, the King called for joint Arab action to help the region cope with crises in a number of Arab countries.

The Arab League secretary general voiced appreciation for the King’s gesture and briefed him on the latest developments in Egypt as well as the situation of the Arab League.

Royal Court Chief Khaled Karaki, the King’s Media Adviser Amjad Adaileh and Foreign Minister Nasser Judeh attended the meeting.
