His Majesty King Abdullah on Sunday met with a delegation from the American Jewish Committee (AJC) and discussed efforts to achieve comprehensive and permanent peace in the region.

King Abdullah highlighted the importance of achieving progress in peace efforts to end the Palestinian-Israeli conflict on the basis of a two-state solution within a comprehensive regional context.

The King noted that security and stability in the region will not be achieved unless a peace agreement is reached that guarantees the rights of all parties.
