His Majesty King Abdullah on Wednesday said Jordanians' solidarity will foil any attempt to tamper with the Kingdom's security and stability.

During a visit by Their Majesties King Abdullah and Queen Rania to pay condolences to the family of Ahmad Najdawi, the Jordanian soldier who was killed last week in the terrorist attack on Aqaba, His Majesty the King said the criminals, who carried out the attack, will be punished.

On Monday, security forces announced the arrest of the prime suspect in the attack.

King Abdullah also commended security forces' efforts to arrest suspects in connection with the attack.

Najdawi's family thanked the King and the Queen for their sentiments.
