Their Majesties King Abdullah and Queen Rania arrived in London today on a several-day visit, during which they will be received by Queen Elizabeth II, while King Abdullah was to hold talks with Prime Minister Tony Blair.

The meeting will focus on ways of bolstering bilateral ties between the two countries and the situation in the Middle East, including ways to help revive the Palestinian-Israeli peace process.

King Abdullah was to address the British parliament on the “dangers” posed by the breakdown in the peace process between Israel and the Palestinians, and the persistent violence in Iraq.

The King will also meet with British businesspeople and discuss investment opportunities in Jordan.
